Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Yenz app ("the App") or visiting the pages at clarionapps.com/yenz ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Yenz. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Roundhouse Ads LLC, doing business as Clarion Apps ("Clarion Apps," "we," "us," or "our").

2. What Yenz is

Yenz is a social application for private circles of friends. Posts, comments, and reactions are visible only to the circle the author selects. Yenz may suggest people you may know using signals such as mutual friends, shared circles or plans, shared app activity, and optional private contact matching, but you choose who to add and which circle they belong in. There is no public feed, no public follower count, no public like count, and no advertising. Yenz is a product of Roundhouse Ads LLC (d/b/a Clarion Apps).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yenz. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf. Yenz is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

4. Your account

You create your Yenz account using Sign in with Apple or email sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may have only one account per person. You may not impersonate another person, use a misleading display name, or operate the account on behalf of an organisation you do not represent.

5. Your content

You own everything you post to Yenz — photos, videos, captions, comments, and reactions ("Your Content"). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. You must have the consent of anyone identifiable in a photo or video before posting it.

By posting to Yenz, you grant Roundhouse Ads LLC (d/b/a Clarion Apps) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating Yenz — i.e. delivering it to the circle you selected, generating thumbnails, backing it up, and showing it to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use Your Content to train AI models. We do not sell or license Your Content to third parties.

6. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Yenz has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You may not post, share, upload, or transmit content that:

  • Depicts, promotes, or glorifies child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
  • Depicts non-consensual sexual content, revenge porn, or exploitative nudity.
  • Incites, threatens, or celebrates violence against a person, group, or protected class.
  • Constitutes harassment, stalking, doxxing, or targeted hate speech.
  • Sells or promotes regulated goods (firearms, illegal drugs, prescription medication, etc.).
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or attempts to deceive or defraud other users.
  • Infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
  • Violates any applicable local, state, federal, or international law.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or delete any account, at our sole discretion and without notice, for violations of this section.

7. Reporting and blocking

Every post and comment can be reported from within the App using the menu ("…") on the post or via long-press on a comment. You can also block any user — blocking immediately hides their content from your feed and prevents them from interacting with you.

Reports are reviewed by a human moderator at Roundhouse Ads LLC (d/b/a Clarion Apps). We aim to act on credible reports within 24 hours. Users found to have repeatedly violated these Terms will be permanently removed.

If you believe content on Yenz infringes your copyright, please email info@clarionapps.com with a DMCA notice including: (a) a description of the work, (b) the location of the infringing material on Yenz, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised, and (e) your signature. We honour valid takedown notices.

8. Acceptable use

You also agree not to:

  • Use Yenz to send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk promotional content.
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from Yenz, including via automated means.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Yenz's systems, or breach any security or authentication measure.
  • Use the App to violate any law or to infringe anyone's rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent any blocking, reporting, or moderation mechanism.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access to Yenz at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, the licence you granted us in Section 5 ends (other than for copies of content previously delivered to other users' devices), and you must stop using the App.

10. Intellectual property

The App, Website, the Yenz name and logo, and all non-user content are owned by Roundhouse Ads LLC (d/b/a Clarion Apps) and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or Website without our prior written permission.

11. Product changes and pre-release builds

We may change, disable, or remove Yenz features as the service evolves. If you use a TestFlight build or any other pre-release version of Yenz, that build may contain bugs, data loss risks, or incomplete features and is provided for testing.

12. No warranties

YENZ IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUNDHOUSE ADS LLC (D/B/A CLARION APPS) AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE YENZ.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Roundhouse Ads LLC (d/b/a Clarion Apps) harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of Yenz, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of Yenz after an update means you accept the new Terms.
