Delete My Data

Last updated: April 1, 2026

You can request deletion of any data associated with your use of the Clarion app at any time.

What Data We Store

  • Device identifier — a random UUID generated on your device, used to attribute community reports
  • Community reports — incident reports or updates you've submitted, including any attached photos
  • Push notification token — used to deliver alerts; automatically removed when you disable notifications or uninstall
  • Location — used in real-time to fetch nearby data but never stored permanently on our servers

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1 — Email us:

  1. Send an email to info@clarionapps.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request
  2. Include the approximate date you first installed the app and, if you submitted any community reports, a brief description so we can locate your records
  3. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email

Option 2 — Uninstall the app:

  1. Uninstalling Clarion removes all locally stored data from your device
  2. Your push notification token is automatically invalidated
  3. To also delete any community reports you submitted, email us at info@clarionapps.com

What Gets Deleted

  • All community incident reports and photos you submitted
  • Your device identifier from our records
  • Your push notification token

Location data is not stored persistently and does not require deletion.
